This illustrates the locations of Private and Affordable Housing provisions across the masterplan.
Throughout the development the different tenures are integrated
within the proposal on a tenure blind basis. As the Southern phases
are some of the last to be built out, many of the remaining homes are
private in tenure. The earlier phases included a higher proportion of
social units to facilitate in part the re-housing of the existing residents
of the former estate. The first part of the Southern area that is the
subject of this application is all private housing.

There are two existing substations within the masterplan. The larger substation is too substantial to relocate however the smaller is being re-provided in a more convenient location within the masterplan. High and low voltage cables run into and out of the current substations. This has been taken into consideration in the design process.
